South East Central Railway (SECR) is one of the railway zones of Indian Railways operating under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. The Bilaspur Division of SECR conducts recruitment and apprenticeship training programs to develop skilled manpower in various technical and non-technical trades. The organization provides practical training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 to eligible candidates through a transparent and merit-based selection process. The recruitment is being conducted by South East Central Railway for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2026-27. A total of 1191 apprentice vacancies have been announced in various technical trades including COPA, Electrician, Fitter, Wireman, Plumber, Welder, and others. Eligible candidates who have passed 10th class and ITI in relevant trades can apply online through the Apprenticeship India portal. Selection will be based on merit prepared from Matriculation and ITI marks, followed by document verification and medical examination.
